Darren Bravo dismissal off Jasprit Bumrah: The Indian fast bowler bowled an inspired spell of fast bowling before tea on Day 4.

During the fourth day of the first Test of the ongoing India’s tour of West Indies at Antigua, India fast bowled Jasprit Bumrah bowled a peach of a delivery to dismiss West Indies middle-order batsman Darren Bravo.

It all happened on the third delivery of the eighth over when Bumrah, who was bowling from around the wicket, deceived the batsman all ends up. With the ball pitching on the off-stump, it swung into the batsman to find the gap between Bravo’s bat and pads.

Having hit the off-stump, Bumrah saw the invaluable sight of the stump flying in the air after beating the batsman. Coming in to bat at No. 4 in the fourth over, Bravo was part of a batting collapse which saw the hosts being restricted to 15/5 in a 419-run target. The 30-year old left-hand batsman ended up scoring 2 (10).

Resuming the day on 185/3, India eventually declared their innings at 343/7 in 112.3 overs. It was a 135-run partnership for the fifth wicket between Ajinkya Rahane (102) and Hanuma Vihari (93) which saw the visitors setting a formidable target for West Indies.

Other than Bravo, Bumrah also dismissed West Indies opening batsman in Kraigg Brathwaite (1) and John Campbell (7) in his praiseworthy first spell in the second innings.
