When awkward chat between Ravindra Jadeja and Sarah Taylor got viral, but their conversation got public due to Jadeja’s lack of social media knowledge.
Sarah Taylor has recently taken retirement from cricket due to her anxiety disorder. She ended her career after playing 126 ODIs, 90 T20Is and 10 tests and scored 5056, 2177 and 300 runs in these formats respectively.
The former England skipper has quick hands behind the wickets and usually gets compared with MS Dhoni for her skills. However, her name was linked with Ravindra Jadeja after her twitter conversation with the Indian all-rounder went viral.
The incident happened after 2014 T20 World Cup finals, when both Indian men’s team and English women’s team lost their respective finals.
At that time, Jadeja was not well versed with twitter and and he sent a direct message to Sarah Taylor after her team’s loss against Australia.
Jadeja had not followed her on twitter thus she was unable to DM him. So Taylor was forced to reply to Jadeja’s personal messages with tweets which anyone could see.
It was obsevable that both were talking about their performances at that time and soon they realized that Taylor’s replies to him were public to everyone.
In return, Taylor asked Jadeja to follow her on twitter so she can be able to direct message him. However, Sarah Taylor kept replying him through tweets.
Soon the conversation turned a bit personal as they talked about that the fans who were watching their tweets and thinking something else. In the end, both decided to meet each other near the pool at 10 AM.

Taylor took retirement from cricket recently, after having an illustrious career with the English cricket team. The player has also been linked with Virat Kohli in past as she is a huge fan of the Indian skipper.
