Shakib Al Hasan IPL 2020 replacement: 5 Players who can replace Shakib at SRH in IPL 2020
Shakib Al Hasan IPL 2020 replacement: Sunrisers Hyderabad have suffered a major blow ahead of IPl 2020 auctions in December.
Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has received a two-year ban after failing to report corrupt approaches from a bookie. With Shakib accepting the three charges of breaching the ICC anti-corruption code, he will be allowed to play the game from October 29 next year.
With Shakib being Bangladesh’s Test and T20I captain, his ban has seen Mominul Haque and Mahmudullah becoming the captain of the Test and T20I sides.
A vital part of the Indian Premier League franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad, Shakib will also miss IPL 2020. Therefore, Hyderabad will be looking to rope in a suitable replacement for the 32-year old all-rounder.
With the auction for the next IPL season yet to take place, Sunrisers will have to be well-prepared for an apt replacement has it in it to work wonders for them.

Glenn Maxwell (Australia)
Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell missed the last season of the IPL to concentrate on playing for Australia. An archetype T20 player, Maxwell brings with him an experience of 251 T20s.
Having played in the IPL for Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab since 2012, Maxwell has significant experience of playing in the Indian conditions. In 69 IPL matches, Maxwell has scored 1,397 runs at an average of 22.90 and a strike rate of 140.83 including six half-centuries.
So Shakib Al Hasan’s ban has a lesson for all sports lovers and sportsmen: if you disregard the game and try to become bigger than the game by sidetracking the laid rules and protocols then be ready for a fantastic fall! Sad.

Overall in T20s, Maxwell has amassed 5,589 runs at an average of 27 and a strike rate of 154.94 including three centuries and 30 half-centuries. Maxwell might not be as good a bowler as Shakib, but he surely is a handy option with the ball in hand.
