Mitchell Starc’s mystery ball makes contact at four places before dismissing the batsman while playing domestic cricket in Australia.

Mitchell Starc once again grabbed headlines for his phenomenal bowling while playing for New South Wales in the Australian domestic cricket. Starc delivered a mystery ball where it made four contacts before dismissing Western Australia’s opener Josh Philippe.

Starc’s delivery managed to hit Philippe on the bat first followed by making contact with both the pads only to go on and hit the stumps. Everyone on the field including the batsman was baffled by Starc’s mysterious delivery.

The legendary pacer pulled yet another moment of brilliance out of his hat. The Australian pacer is in a good run of form in the Sheffield Sheild and been continuously picking wickets.

Starc has managed to continue this form since the world cup, where he took staggering 27 wickets in the tournament with the best figures of 5/26, making his side reach the semi-final round of the tournament.

With such fine performances, Starc has developed himself as one of the prolific pacers of Australia while carrying the legacy of veterans like Glenn Mcgrath and Brett Lee.

It is not a question that Starc has proved himself in all the formats of the cricket as the bowler has been able to amass 172 scalps in 85 ODIs including seven 5-wicket hauls. He also has a phenomenal record with the red ball. Where he has taken 215 wickets in 52 Tests at an average of 28.3.

Starc will certainly be penned in the history books for Australia as one of the most lethal fast bowlers to have embraced the game. He is currently sitting at the eighth spot in the list of bowlers with most ODI wickets for Australia.

The player has also been praised by Justin Langer ability to bowl at the death and his phenomenal performance in the ICC World Cup 2019.
