Rashid Khan hits breathtaking six off Tom Curran: The Strikers’ bowler took everyone by surprise with his batting skills yet again.

During the 20th match of the ongoing ninth season of the Big Bash League between Sydney Sixers and Adelaide Strikers at Coffs Harbour, Adelaide Strikers bowler Rashid Khan entertained one and all with his batting skills yet again.

Coming in to bat at No. 8 in the penultimate over of the innings, Rashid didn’t have the opportunity of scoring heaps of runs but it was his six off Sydney pacer Tom Curran which gained plentiful limelight.

It was on the third delivery of the last over when Rashid didn’t hit but just guided a Curran low full-toss over deep square leg for a stunning six. The right-hand batsman ended up scoring 14* (6) with the help of one four and six each.

After Strikers captain Alex Carey won the toss and chose to bat, his team scored 176/6 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Having scored 40* (28) with the five fours, batsman Jonathan Wells top-scored for the visitors.

With bowling figures of 4-0-41-2, Sydney spinner Lloyd Pope was the pick of the bowlers for them. Other than Pope, pacers Josh Hazlewood, Jackson Bird and Ben Dwarshius picked a wicket apiece.
