Wonder Woman distributes masks to South African players to promote social issue while the Proteas faced England in the 3rd T20I match.
England and South Africa ended the T2oI series on a very intense note with scoring a combined score of 448 runs. But midst the high-packed action a social activist took the limelight.
A woman dressed up in the costume of a famous superhero character- Wonder woman stepped into the pitch, only to give oxygen masks to South African players on the pitch.
The activist first handed over the pollution mask to skipper Quinton de Kock. The captain accepted it gleefully with a broad smile on his face. Thereafter, Dale Steyn, the veteran fast bowler, joined the conversation and took the mask from the activist.
The woman was identified to be an activist from Greenpeace Africa. The said organisation is working to spread awareness about climate change. They posted the video on their official Facebook page.
The initiative probably found a good and effective way of promotion, as millions watched the message on the TV. Indeed, climate changes need to be addressed immediately and should be the prioritized concern of the world.

Meanwhile, South Africa elected to bat first in the last T20I match of the series and gave a mammoth target of 223 to the ODI World Champions.
Heinrich Klaasen top scored with 66 runs, laced with four fours and as many hits into the stands. To start with Temba Bavuma and De Kock put on an 84-run standoff 46 balls. From there, Klaasen took the Proteas to the humongous total.
David Miller also chipped in with a handy 35 in the death overs. In the run-chase, Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow’s half-centuries put the Brits on the driver’s seat.
The duo steadied the ship after Jason Roy fell cheaply. In the death overs, it was captain Eoin Morgan’s turn to weave magic. The skipper raced to 57 off a mere 22 balls and remained till the end to watch his side win.
