KL Rahul takes Rishabh Pant’s babysitting job: The Indian wicket-keeper batsman’s latest Twitter post has invited hilarious reactions.

India batsman Lokesh Rahul has successfully changed his status from that of a batsman to a wicket-keeper batsman across white-ball formats. After regular wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant was sidelined due to a concussion injury, Rahul stool tall on his potential to cement his place as a keeper-batsman.

In eight white-ball outings during the ongoing tour of New Zealand, Rahul scored 428 runs at an average of 71.33 and a strike rate of 125.88 including one century and three half-centuries.

His stellar half-century against Australia in Rajkot made the team management continue to play him at No. 5 even when there was room for him to open the batting.

All in all, Rahul’s form has ensured that Pant continues to warm the bench even when there was an opportunity to play him at No. 6 in both T20Is and ODIs.

Rahul, who is no part of the Test squad, took to his social media platform Twitter account to post two images alongside renowned anchor Jatin Sapru’s daughter.

While fans predominantly found the images adorable, a section of fans posted hilariously comments with respect to Rahul snatching another department from Pant. It is worth mentioning that Pant had allured immense interest post his babysitting stint with Australia Test captain Tim Paine’s kids last year.
