Mohammad Kaif grabs two outstanding catches: The former Indian player continued to do his thing on the field against Sri Lanka Legends.

During the third match of the ongoing Road Safety World Series between India Legends and Sri Lanka Legends in Mumbai, India Legends batsman Mohammad Kaif turned back the time with his exceptional fielding skills.

Kaif, who used to be a gun fielder back in the day, reminded the fans as to why his fielding was so highly rated. The 39-year old grabbed two catches to dismiss Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan (23) and batsman Chamara Kapugedera (23).

On the second delivery of the eighth over, Dilshan’s attempt of upping the ante saw him mis-timing a Munaf Patel delivery. Kaif, who was fielding at the boundary, ran in from his position to time his dive to perfection as he completed the catch.

Kaif registered a similar effort on the third delivery of the 18th over when Kapugedera flicked a delivery from India pacer Zaheer Khan. Fielding at deep mid-wicket, Kaif ran to his right to complete his second praiseworthy catch for the day.

Coming in to bat at No. 3 in the first over itself while chasing a 139-run target, Kaif scored a vital 46 (45) with the help of four fours and a six to register all-round effort in a 5-wicket Indian victory.

India all-rounder Irfan Pathan sealed victory for India in the penultimate over after scoring 57* (31) with the help of six fours and three sixes.
