How Chris Paul reacted to Kyrie Irving’s statement of intent on NBA restart
Chris Paul has let the players know his point of view on the Kyrie Irving led statement about the NBA restart, now it’s for the players to decide.
NBA’s return to the Walt Disney World has been the topic that has grabbed eyeballs of the Players and the fans over the past weekend. Brooklyn Nets Point Guard, Kyrie Irving hosted a zoom conference call for the players where they discussed whether NBA restart is valid at this point when the nation is wounded.
NBPA president Chris Paul opinion on the 2019-20 season restart
Former Oklahoma City Thunder guard, Chris Paul was also the part of the conference.told the NBA players that not participating in the restart is their own decision, but they must keep in mind the financial consequences that they have to face.
The clash between the prominent players like LeBron James and Kyrie Irving has been the news for the past weekend. Some players are of the opinion that the NBA restart would take the limelight away from the more important issues affecting the country currently.
While others(LeBron James in particular) feel that playing basketball again won’t affect their way of inspiring change within society.
How Kyrie Irving, Dwight Howard and LeBron James see the matter
Kyrie Irving, Dwight Howard, and Carmelo Anthony have strongly opposed the restart and think that the season will distract the American Black Community from the ongoing fight against the racial injustice in America. They feel that uniting the nation is far more important than playing Basketball, but they seem to be in minority.
Lakers star LeBron James has cleared that he can inspire the society for the good chance they are aiming with Basketball at his hand. Austin Rivers, Danny Green and Kyle Kuzma share the same opinion.
Patrick Beverley on the other hand tweeted out a very sarcastic comment last night, stating that no matter what the other players think, the NBA would do whatever LeBron James deems fit.
Hoopers say what y’all want. If @KingJames said he hooping. We all hooping. Not Personal only BUSINESS🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 🙏🏾 #StayWoke ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿

It will be interesting to see how Adam Silver and co. react to everything that’s being said about the NBA restart and if the players who are currently not in favour of returning, ultimately do end up playing.
