Miami Heat starting lineup 2020: Who are guaranteed starters at the Bubble restart?
The Heat are led by Jimmy Butler and the emergence of third-year player and budding superstar Bam Adebayo. Both were a part of the All-star team this season.
Adebayo is being considered as one of the candidates for Defensive Player of the year as well as the Most Improved Player. He is averaging 16.2 PPG, 5.1 APG, & 10.5 RPG to go with 1.3 BPG and 1.2 SPG this season.
Jimmy Butler is one of the best defensive players in the league. Along with that, he is the highest-scoring player for the Heat this season. Butler is averaging 20.2 PPG, 6.6 RPG, and 6.1 APG this season. They have shown they can hang with the rest of the East’s elite, with at least two wins apiece over the Bucks, Raptors, and 76ers. They both clearly are Miami’s best players.

How has the supporting cast faired?
Along with great performances from two All-stars this season the rookies have also impressed for the Heat.
Impressive play of rookies Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn this season means that the Heat have a very impressive core for the future.
Miami has led the league in 3-point percentage (38.3%) this season. While also ranking in the top ten in assists, free throws, and field goal percentage. Both Duncan Robinson and Herro are connecting at around a 40% clip from deep.
Meyers Leonard has drawn more starts with the Heat but isn’t a heavily used player as he averages right around 20 minutes per game. Miami usually brings Goran Dragic or Derrick Jones Jr off the bench and move to small ball play with Adebayo moving into the center position.
With seven players who average double-digits in scoring, Miami embraces a committee approach to scoring and will be a tough out for anyone in the playoffs.
