LeBron James agent: Who is Rich Paul, the most influential agent in the NBA
LeBron James’ agent,Rich Paul is one of the most influential people in the entire NBA. Which agencies does he run and why is he so influential.
The super agent represents some of the top-tier superstars in the entire league. Paul is often criticized for getting to the top just because of his connections with Lebron James. He represents LeBron James and 22 other N.B.A. players under his Klutch Sports Group banner.
His appeal and influence has made him one of the most-sought after names in the league. Paul is also the head of the sports divison of the United Talent Agency.
Rich Paul and Klutch Sports
The U.T.A dived into the world of NBA last year and they tied-up with Paul’s Klutch Sports for it. Their alliance resulted in the U.T.A’s sports division and also allowed Klutch to retain its own branding.
United Talent Agency represents several high-profile actors, including Angelina Jolie, Kevin Hart, Chris Pratt and Tiffany Haddish, as well companies such as Coca-Cola, General Motors and Delta Air Lines.
Thus, the U.T.A made the most sensible move of selecting a super agent who has negotiated deals for over net $1 billion in his career. With Paul on board, they can attract some of the most marketable players in the league.
Some of Paul’s high profile stars include LeBron James, Draymond Green and Anthony Davis. The players have spoken highly about his skill set. Although Paul represents the rest of his agents on and off the court, he only manages LeBron on the court.
Off the court, Lebron is managed by media company, SpringHill Entertainment.
