Vettel-Leclerc crash: Ferrari drivers crash into each other; forced to retire from Styrian GP
Vettel-Leclerc Crash: Two Ferrari crashes on the first turn ends up the Styrian GP for both racers due to obtained damage.
Ferrari came in for Styrian Grand Prix with a hope of having a better race this weekend in comparison to their last outing on the Speilberg track.
However, things went downhill for the red giants when Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel crashed into each other to end Ferrari’s race in less than 2 laps as both drivers took massive damage.
At the start of the race, Vettel and Leclerc started from 10th and 11th position on the grid, and on the first turn, due to lack of space Leclerc bounced over Vettel’s car, breaking his rear wing.
With this, Vettel had to go into the pit and eventually retired from the race. On the other hand, on Ferrari’s team radio with Leclerc, it was heard that even his car was not able to push further and even he went into the pit.
Soon, it was declared that even Leclerc has retired from the race, bringing Ferrari at the end of the ladder of the Styrian Grand Prix.

Ferrari brought the upgrades
After the Austrian Grand Prix, it was announced by Ferrari that new upgrades will be installed in the car, before the Styrian GP, which were earlier planned for Hungarian Grand Prix.
Despite, the announced upgrades, the performance of Ferrari this weekend has remained underwhelming, with poor performance in the qualifying and now a blunder during the race.
Not a promising start for the Italian outfit in the shortened season amidst the Coronavirus spread.
