Is Joel Embiid playing tonight vs Rockets? Sixers release injury report on Embiid’s injured ankle and wrist
‘Is Joel Embiid playing tonight’ has been on the lips of every Sixers fan as they prepare for their final seeding game ahead of the playoff series vs Celtics.
The final seeding game for 6th seed(in the East) Philadelphia 76ers is against the mighty Houston Rockets. The Sixers will face Celtics in the first round of the playoffs and would be hoping that they can get there without getting any more players injured.
Ben Simmons has already been ruled out of the season following a knee surgery and their second all-star, Joel Embiid too is nursing multiple injuries.

Embiid injured his right-hand wrist in the first half-half last game against Raptors. He left in the first half itself and got an X-ray done on his hand. The X-Ray results came back negative but he still did not participate in the 2nd half, as he was already nursing an ankle injury.
Is Joel Embiid playing tonight?
According to the injury report released by the Sixers, Joel Embiid is questionable for tonight’s game vs Rockets, owing to a sore right ankle that he has been living with for sometime now.
His availability is a game time decision and it is highly unlikely that Brett Brown, the coach of the Philadelphia Sixers will make him play.
Even if he is rotated in for a while, which is improbable, he will surely have his minutes restricted.
Game 8.

The Sixers have already been locked into the sixth position in the Eastern conference, no matter what the outcome of this game is. This is all the more reason to give him rest so that he will be fully fit and ready for the playoff series vs Celtics.
