The Formula One 2020 sixth race weekend Free Practice sessions are done with the FP3 at Barcelona for the Spanish Grand Prix. It is a familiar Top 3, with Mercedes doing a one-two yet again, with Lewis Hamilton lapping the fastest time. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished third in all the three practice sessions.
Max’s teammate Alexander Albon finished P9, and look out of sync, considering how well the former is doing in his Red Bull. Right behind was McLaren’s Carlos Sainz in P4, with teammate Esteban Ocon in P15. Haas’ Romain Grosjean has looked incredible so far this weekend, with P6, P5, and P13 in the three sessions.
The session ended in a red flag after Renault’s Esteban Ocon lost concentration and banged his car against the wall. He came out safely from it, and would be fit to continue this weekend.
