Mohammad Rizwan catch vs England: The Pakistani wicket-keeper has continued his golden form behind the wickets in Manchester.

During the first T20I of the ongoing Pakistan’s tour of England in Manchester, Pakistan wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan grabbed a superb catch to dismiss England all-rounder Moeen Ali.

Continuing from where he left off in the Test matches, Rizwan put on display another praiseworthy effort to make sure that a half chance gets converted into a dismissal.

It all happened on the fourth delivery of the 15th over when Ali was aiming to cut a Shadab Khan delivery. With minimal width on the delivery not allowing the batsman to open his arms, Ali ended up edging the ball to the wicket-keeper.

In what wasn’t a straightforward chance for Rizwan especially after he failed to collect the ball cleanly in the first attempt, he had to jump in front to grab a rebound. Coming in to bat at No. 5 in the 13th over, Ali ended up scorinh 8 (7) with the help of one four.

Another brilliant fielding effort from Rizwan occurred in the 16th over when he swiftly stumped England pacer Lewis Gregory (3) off the bowling of Wasim.

After Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and chose to field, his bowlers bowled tight lines and lengths to restrict England to 131/6 in 16.1 overs before rain played a spoilsport at the Old Trafford.
