David Warner vs Jofra Archer: The spearhead from Rajasthan Royals seems to have a “bunny” in the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad.

During the 40th match of the ongoing 13th season of the Indian Premier League between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai, Rajasthan Royals spearhead Jofra Archer dismissed Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner for yet another time this year.

Since the start of this year, the English fast bowler has developed a knack of dismissing the Australian batsman for low scores across conditions, continents and formats.

Speaking about the IPL match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Archer drew first blood in the form of Warner on the fourth delivery that he bowled to Warner.

Bowling at an express pace from the word go, Archer beat Warner outside off-stump on the first two balls before an outside edge flew over Rahul Tewatia at first slip towards the third-man boundary on the following delivery.

It was eventually on the fourth delivery of the first over that Warner edged another jaffa from Archer to Ben Stokes at second slip. While it speaks highly about Royals captain Steven Smith’s captaincy to have two slips, Archer not letting Warner settle by any means for a few matches tells another level of domination against a world-class batsman.

Earlier, Rajasthan scored a mediocre 154/6 in 20 overs after Warner won the toss and chose to field. All-rounder Jason Holder, who replaced Kane Williamson in tonight’s match, justified his selection on the back of emerging as SRH’s best bowler at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

While Holder registered bowling figures of 4-0-33-3, the likes of Vijay Shankar and Rashid Khan also chipped in with a wicket apiece. Royals wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson, who shared a 56-run stand with Ben Stokes (30), top-scored for his team with 36 (26) with the help of three fours and a six.
