“Tua Tagovailoa has the best chance to win”, says Shannon Sharpe on Best Rookie Quarterback for NFL 2020
NFL: Tua Tagovailoa has started to gain popularity after beating the Cardinals and the Rams. Shannon Sharpe says Tua has the brightest future in the NFL.
Best NFL rookie quarterback: Justin Herbert or Tua Tagovailoa?
Justin Herbert made his first NFL start against the Chiefs in week 2. But since then, the Chargers have lost 5 games by 5 points or less. The Chargers missed a win by that small of a margin every time.
Justin Herbert has definitely played well, and the blame can’t go to him. He currently has 17 passing touchdowns with 5 interceptions. He also has a passer rating of 104.7. Herbert made a big deal in his first few NFL games, firing for numerous completions of more than 20+ yards.

Tua Tagovailoa made his first start after the benching of Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Tua gained popularity after beating the Cardinals and Rams in 2 consecutive weeks. He also has a solid 3 touchdown passes and 350 passing yards.
Also looking at Tua’s gameplay, he’s shown good pocket awareness as well as fantastic accuracy. Tua fired quick and short passes with good accuracy, beating 2 teams from possibly the toughest division in the NFL.
What happened to Joe Burrow?
Joe Burrow hasn’t had the start he expected, as the Bengals are 2-5 right now. Burrow currently has 11 passing touchdowns and 5 interceptions. However, Burrow has actually been the best quarterback in the NFL when completing medium-range passes of 10-19 yards.

Joe Burrow is playing well but what is going wrong? The Bengals offensive line hasn’t been of any help, as Burrow has been sacked 28 times, the second-most in the NFL. Because of this, he barely has time to work in the pocket and deliver passes.
