Shaquille O’Neal trash talks Dwight Howard once again and says he won’t apologize for his previous comments.

The beef between Dwight Howard and Shaquille O’Neal runs deep. It dates all the way back to when Dwight Howard quite literally stole Shaq’s ‘Superman’ sobriquet.

Over the years the two have taken playful shots at one another. Just when it seemed the big men might have hashed it out behind closed doors, Shaq reignited the beef with his recent comments on Dwight.

In response to a video Dwight posted of himself giving motivation to his followers after his championship win, Shaq went in on him. Shaq heavily insinuated that players like Dwight shouldn’t act like they deserve the title when they barely contributed.

Now, when asked about those comments, Shaq decided to double down.

Shaq doesn’t want to apologize to Dwight Howard for his earlier comments

Shaq has made a name for himself as being brutally honest and brash with his opinions. He is never afraid to take on an argument.

So when he saw that video of Dwight Howard breaking down emotionally after winning his first chip, Shaq made sure he would take shots at the Lakers center.

Now, about a month later, when asked about those comments, Shaq basically said he had no regrets when it came to those comments. He also said, “I’m still the Lord Supreme of all big men. I’m the last big man to an MVP in this league, so I’m still in charge.”

This is actually a false statement as Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett and Dirk Nowitzki – all first ballot Hall of Famers – have won MVPs after Shaq did in 2000.

Dwight was no slouch for the Lakers this season either. He was a solid plug and play player off the bench for Lakers nation.
