Sergio Perez to Red Bull: Mexican driver issues come-and-get-me plea to Red Bull replacing Alex Albon
Sergio Perez to Red Bull: The Mexican driver is happy with how his F1 career has panned out, suggesting it is completely up to Red Bull to bring him in for Alex Albon.
It is a tragedy that Sergio Perez – who will go down as an F1 legend – is without a team for next season. Since being shown the red light by Aston Martin, he has reportedly been offered seats by Haas and Alfa Romeo. But Perez is an A-lister and doesn’t want to settle for anything less than a competitive team.
He reminisced about his F1 career so far, which has been a treat to witness for the F1 community. He has consistently delivered for Force India/Racing Point and will do the same if he moves to Milton Keynes with Red Bull. Perez also is pleased with how the car has performed this season, dominating the midfield pack comprising giants like Ferrari, McLaren, and Renault.
“It’s been a good season, but also Formula 1, it’s so much related to your car’s potential. I think I’ve had very good seasons in the past but they were not seen as good years because of the car’s potential. I was finishing seventh in the championship, a couple of times eighth, but I was still doing a good job, a tremendous job.”
“Right now I’m at a very good level in my career, probably at my peak in terms of experience, understanding, communication-wise with the team as well. I’ve been awhile with the team so that also helps.”
Will Sergio Perez move to Red Bull?
When asked about the status of his ‘negotiation’ with Red Bull, he simply chose to speak about his performance. It is now down to Dr. Helmut Marko and co. to bring him on the table and get the contract signed.
How on earth is Sergio Perez going to be without a seat next season. Red Bull should be snapping him up

“As always you have to be delivering weekend after weekend and you are only as good as your last race, so it’s important to finish on a high. The rest is not in my hands.”
