Danny Green reacts to LeBron James’ farewell message after Green’s Trade to Thunder’s
Lakers’ superstar LeBron James posts a heartfelt farewell message for former teammates Danny Green and Quinn Cook
The Los Angeles Lakers and Rob Pelinka in particular have been busy. Ever since the trade moratorium was lifted, the Lakers have been trying to implement their talks of making their roster better. One of the first things they did to do so was to acquire Dennis Schroder from the Thunder.
However, in order to do so, they had to give up Danny Green and their recently drafted Jaden McDaniels. They also waived off Quinn Cook, who had little to no role these playoffs.

Danny Green responds to LeBron James’ tweet
Danny Green did not have the best time in the bubble. His performance was struggling, and he was subjected to a lot of ridicule from the ‘fans’. Then he went on to miss a potential series clincher in Game 5, which causes even more discontent amongst Lakers fans.
However, this never was reflected by his teammates, or by teams this off-season. Soon after the Thunder got Green officially, the Sixers made a trade for him.

Danny Green and LeBron James had respect for each other always. Green entered the side as a 2x NBA champion, who had a lot of playoff mileage. LBJ respected that and often valued his opinions. Danny Green reacted to LeBron James’ farewell tweet in a similar manner:
Always Love Brodie ! #brother4Life🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 https://t.co/NcFgyQfyAG

What’s next in store for Danny Green?
The Sixers acquired Danny Green and Seth Curry in a very close interval. This clearly shows they want to surround their stars Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid with perimeter shooting. Unless he is traded again, Danny Green will have an important role as a perimeter shooter, probably starting for the Sixers or playing as their sixth man.
