“I want Jayson Tatum”: Charles Barkley roasts Celtics star and TNT colleague Chris Webber for weak golf game
Charles Barkley has been having fun at The Match 3 golf competition. He went off on Jayson Tatum for his golf skills and his payday.
Teaming up with pro golfer Phil Mickelson, Charles Barkley beat Stephen Curry and Peyton Manning in his contest. The Match 3 is a charitable stroke play competition whose proceeds will go to historically Black colleges and Feeding America.

Barkley was, as always in great spirits and providing spectators all the soundbites they expect from him in a TNT studio.
Charles Barkley roasts Jayson Tatum, Steve Smith and Chris Webber for their golfing skills
When speaking to the event commentators, Chuck alluded to Jayson Tatum’s golfing challenge, which the Celtics star had thrown at him during the bubble:
“I want Jayson Tatum. He had no competition down at the bubble. He had Steve Smith and Chris Webber as his competition. I want Jayson Tatum. Oh and first of all, he got all that money too!”

According to Barkley, Tatum’s improved golf game doesn’t necessarily mean he can beat Chuck at it. The Chuckster had a terrible hiccup in his backlift many years back, something which he was ribbed for during his appearance with Michael Jordan on Oprah Winfrey’s show.
The latest evidence from the events of ‘The Match 3’ at Stone Canyon Golf Club in Oro Valley, Arizona suggests that Barkley could be up to the challenge.
Having netted the bag from the Celtics, Tatum can possibly buy a golf course or two to hone his golfing skills. There is no doubt that any prospective matchup between him and Chuck will draw viewers like moths to a flame.
