“She appreciated my comments”- Daniel Ricciardo claims Grosjean’s wife agreed that his heated objection against constant broadcasts was warranted.

Daniel Ricciardo was furious on F1 for frequent replays shown of Romain Grosjean’s crash when media interviewed him after the Bahrain Grand Prix race, however, he was only joined by Sebastian Vettel in the protest.

Now, with Grosjean’s wife Marion Jolles joining the French driver in Bahrain, Ricciardo claims that Jolles commented that she agreed with him on the issue.

“I saw her and she appreciated my comments. I think that was the only confirmation I needed”, Ricciardo said to media like Motorsport.com on Thursday as he prepares for the second GP-weekend in Bahrain.

It was true, while the red flags stopped the session for a significant amount of time. The broadcasters of F1 constantly played the footage of Grosjean everywhere until the race got restarted.

Vettel also said that he was distressed by the footages and chose to ignore them in the end due to the severity of the accident and the omnipresence of the footage.

Grosjean want a deserving exit

With Grosjean set to leave Haas by the end of the season, his crash aroused a question- “For how long he will remain unavailable”. Fortunately, Grosjean suffered only some minor burns.

Though that makes him still unavailable for the Sakhir GP and will be replaced by Fittipaldi. Fortunately, he will be available for the last race of the season in Yas Marina circuit later this month.

And that’s why Grosjean in a recent interview said that he is glad he will be available for that race, as he never wished to exit from F1 with a final moment being the crash at Bahrain.

Next year, Haas will present a brand new lineup of Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin replacing the current set.
