“Pregame Steph Curry is back”: Twitters lauds Warriors star for changing up his pregame tunnel shot routine
NBA Twitter is in awe of Steph Curry’s shots during his pregame warmup against the Denver Nuggets.
When it comes to pure basketball, Steph Curry has had a rough year and a half to say the least. He started off last season without his running mate in Klay Thompson and a couple games into the season, broke his left hand.
He made his return in March but played merely one game due to the league being suspended. The Warriors didn’t even make the Playoffs due to their abysmal record. Going into the 2020-21 NBA season, Klay Thompson is once again sidelined.
A silver lining for Warriors fans, and NBA fans in general, is that Steph Curry is healthy and will most probably look to dominate throughout the season.
Steph’s pregame warmup shenanigans are back
Curry’s pregame routines and antics took the NBA world by storm back in 2015. His incredible shots from the tunnel and his intense ball handling drills became a staple for Curry during his pregame.
In his first game back since March, Curry seemed to have not skipped a beat on his pregame routine. He was seen making shots from the rafters with ease, while also taking some shots with an incredible arc them.

The Warriors seem to have a trend where they have guards who can make insane pregame shots. Monta Ellis famously made 4 behind the back, underarm, no look shots from the tunnel.
How did Steph Curry perform in his first game back?
Though he may have not skipped a beat when it comes to his pregame shots, his game on the floor was a bit rusty. He shot 3 for 10 from the field, while draining 2 of his 7 shots from beyond the arc.
This was his first professional game back since March so his performance should definitely not be any cause for concern.
The Warriors edged out the Nuggets, 107-105, despite Nikola Jokic’s valiant 26 and 10.
