Baker Mayfield says Lamar Jackson’s entry was “like a scene out of a movie”
NFL news: Baker Mayfield went head to head with the 2019 MVP Lamar Jackson yesterday. The Ravens and Browns’ offense combined for 89 points which was a Monday Night Football record.
The Browns fell just short when Lamar Jackson reentered the game after an injury. Here’s what Mayfield had to say about it:

Jackson led the Ravens to a quick touchdown late in the 4th quarter, and set up what would be the game-winning 55 yard field goal for Justin Tucker
NFL news: Lamar Jackson edges out Browns defense
Jackson didn’t have the best game through air, as he was held to just 162 passing yards. However, Jackson did what he does best and rushed for a staggering 124 yards.
He was lethal on the ground, averaging 13.8 yards per carry while also rushing for 2 touchdowns. By the end of the game, the Ravens had a total of 231 rushing yards with the help of running backs J.K Dobbins and Gus Edwards.
Baker Mayfield and the receiving core falls just short
Mayfield threw for a total of 343 yards, 2 touchdown passes and 1 interception. He did struggle though, completing just under 60% of his passes.
Mayfield also found 7 different receivers to throw to. His favourite being running back Kareem Hunt, who caught for a game-high 77 yards. He also had 1 receiving touchdown.
