Match Preview and Predictions for Tottenham vs Chelsea
Chelsea and Tottenham head into Gameweek 2 with contrasting moods. Chelsea lost their opening fixture against Burnley after being shown two red cards, while Tottenham were made to toil for a 2-0 victory against Newcastle.
In the first PL match at Wembley Stadium, the temporary home ground of Tottenham, the mighty Spurs are riding high on confidence and team play.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are very much in trouble, with Fabregas red carded, and Gary Cahill serving a 3-match ban for a straight red, and with reported discord between the manager and the club board.
Good news, however, as Victor Moses is ready to play again, as his one match ban has been completed.
Injuries are abound at Chelsea, with Hazard and Bakayoko still out of contention for the match. However, the duo returned to training this week, and even played in a closed-door friendly against QPR.

Pedro, meanwhile, might be available for selection, returning from an ankle injury.
Conte is expected to play his highly successful 3-4-3 formation yet again, with Moses back in the wings for them. With Cahill suspended, Rudiger will take his spot.
Christensen will likely take the midfielder spot, and Boga might get a chance again, if Pedro is not match fit. The striker spot will likely be taken by Alvaro Morata, who impressed on his debut last week.
Tottenham are expected to field a strong line-up, with no fresh injury woes for them.
Victor Wanyama and Son are likely to be brought back to face the current champions after being on the bench against Newcastle.
Kyle Walker-Peters might hold onto his spot, after having a good debut.
Conte will bring his best tactics to this match, but with his best players injured or suspended, there’s only as much he can do.
But you can’t underestimate this Chelsea side, who still look formidable, and Spurs will need to be on their top game if they are to take something home from this fixture.
Chelsea have tough fixtures up ahead, with Spurs being the first one. If they weather this storm of the next 5 matches, Chelsea will be serious title contenders yet again.
