Kevin De Bruyne Contract : Kevin de Bruyne On The Cusp Of Signing New Five Year Deal At Manchester City
Kevin de Bruyne Contract : The new contract will see Kevin de Bruyne’s weekly wages be massively elevated
Ever since his arrival at Manchester City, Kevin de Bruyne has taken to the league like a fish takes to water. The player has not only filled his shoes with the goals and assists but has been the architect of a bevy of league titles for the club.
The PFA Players’ Player of the Year last season, Kevin de Bruyne was the only source of solace for the team in an otherwise howler of a campaign. And he’s once again emerged as the focal point of the team’s attacking gameplan this season with him crafting the most number of goals for the club.
Helping himself to the two goals and seven assists, Kevin de Bruyne has hammered home what he means to the club. And the club which is fully appreciative of the colossal role the midfielder holds in their ranks has moved quick to tie down the player at the club.
Kevin de Bruyne On The Cusp Of Signing New Five Year Deal At Manchester City
Opening talks with Kevin for a new contract back in October as reported by Sportsmail, City are now on the verge of getting the player to commit his long term future to them. As per Fabrizio Romano, Kevin de Bruyne is edging closer to signing a new deal, one which would see him stay at the club for the next five years.
The deal which will run down till 2026 will see the 29 year old player take home a behemoth 300,00 pounds per week. The player currently has two and a half years remining on his current deal which sees him remain a City figure till 2023.
City are also said to be extremely eager to rope in a replacement for Sergio Aguero. The striker has gone out of favour this season with injuries and waning form seeing him being left on the sidelines.
With Gabriel Jesus failing to spearhead the club’s attack, City are said to be heavily immersed in the market for a worldclass striker. A dearth of goals has massively stung the side this season with the club being far from their potent and ruthless best in attack.
