Who is the favourite heading into the India -Australia series?
The series everyone is waiting for, will soon commence. Over the past few years, the Indian-Australian cricket rivalry on the field has transformed and reached to a different level all together.
The competitive spirit on both sides is sure to bring out the best in every player. Be it the occasional sledging or the friendly gestures, it is surely going to be a treat for the cricket fans.
The confidence of the Indian team is sky-high especially after whitewashing Sri Lanka in the ODI’s and Tests, whereas on the other hand Australia are looking back to bounce back in the 2nd test after experiencing a shocking loss in the 1st test vs Bangladesh.
But in such a highly contested series, form usually goes out of the window, so the Indian team can expect a stern test from a team that consists of world class players like David Warner and Steven Smith.

Jasprit Bumrah is the player to look out for especially after winning the man-of-the-series award for his outstanding performances with the bowl throughout the ODI series vs Sri Lanka.
Australia’s tour of India will consist of a five-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series starting on September 21. The first ODI match is set to be played at Chennai on 17th September.
Prior to the series, Australia are also scheduled to play a warm-up fixture in Chennai on 12th September. Though an official announcement on the exact schedule is yet to come from the BCCI or Cricket Australia.
