“Charles and I have no problems”- Carlos Sainz assures healthy relationship amidst Ferrari duo
“Charles and I have no problems”- Carlos Sainz assures a healthy relationship with his Ferrari partner citing his past experiences.
Carlos Sainz soon would be debuting with Ferrari this year, and his recent racing records make him a bright prospect for Ferrari.
But with two equal forces, F1 teams usually encounter tensions between their pair, and the Spaniard has assured that nothing of that sort will happen at Ferrari, while citing his relationships with his former partners.
“Obviously my relationship with Lando is great and I enjoyed it a lot,” Sainz told Crash.net.
“Since the moment we met, we always had a good feeling with each other and we have managed to translate that into a very healthy and competitive relationship also at the track. We respect each other but we also keep it really competitive and really respectful.”
“I think this is helping a lot the team to move forward and to now be third in the Constructors’ Championship, we are always looking out for each other on track and bringing a fair bit of points for the team.”
“That’s exactly what I want to carry over into Ferrari.I’ve always got on well with my team-mates, it’s never been an issue for me and I already get on very well with Charles and I have no problems with that and I’m sure I can also have a good relationship there.”
It was never always merry
The social media appearances projected Lando Norris and Sainz’s relationship as perfect, but according to Norris, there were competitive tensions between the two.
Which often tend to convert into hate. So, while they had a healthy off the track relation, things were ruthless on the track.
And, this was the same relationship between Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel. So what happens on the track that matters the most.
