Virender Sehwag lights up Twitter once again, this time at the expense of Parthiv Patel
In his pomp, Virender Sehwag was one of the best batsmen in world cricket. Many credit him for revolutionizing the role of a opening batsman, as Sehwag’s attacking style brought a new dimension to the Indian batting order.
Now retired, Sehwag has taken Twitter by storm, as his wit and humour have given us countless little gems on the social media platform.
Today he came up with another little nugget, as Sehwag took to Twitter to congratulate Parthiv Patel on completing 10,000 first class runs in his career.

Parthiv Patel played with Sehwag back in 2003-2004, when the young boy from Gujarat was India’s number one wicket keeper. Patel also kept wickets for that famous Indian side that did so very well in Australia in 2003.
Sehwag, who was also a part of that Indian side that toured Australia, would have seen the talent of Patel. Unfortunately due to bad form, Patel was dropped from the Indian side and had to wait until 2016 to get a chance back in the Indian team.
Patel has been a regular fixture in the Mumbai Indians line up, and has played a crucial role in their recent successes. Patel has also been a main stay in domestic circuit, as he guided Gujarat to their maiden Ranji trophy title.
During the ongoing Duleep Trophy, Patel crossed 10,000 first class runs, a testament to his batting prowess. Sehwag took to Twitter to quickly congratulate his former Indian team mate, in his own customary fashion.
People were wondering CC meant for, but eventually they guessed that it mean ‘Chhota Chetan’!
