WATCH : Lionel Messi scores FOUR goals against Eibar
Earlier in the summer when people were saying that Barcelona were going through a crisis, fans seemed to have forgotten that they still had Lionel Messi at the club.
The Argentine has reached a stage where in nothing that he does on the pitch surprises us anymore. Many people felt that Neymar’s departure would be too big a blow for Barcelona to take this season.

But Messi does not seem to be affected, as the number 10 has started the season in superb fashion. Messi has already scored nine goals in La Liga, equaling what Real Madrid have scored so far in the league.
And last night, Messi scored four goals against Eibar in a 6-1 thrashing of the Spanish side. It was a vintage Messi performance, as he danced and jinxed his way through Eibar’s team.
It continued Barcelona’s good recovery after their dismal performances against Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup.
