“I cannot yet see the exact idea Frank Lampard has”: Peter Bosz Slams Lampard For Wasting Havertz: The Chelsea man has come under fire from Havertz’s previous manager

One of the flash points of Frank Lampard’s demise at Chelsea this season has been the manager’s incompetence when it comes to Kai Havertz. Despite shelving out a gargantuan 72 million pounds to sign the player, Chelsea have failed to see that money count for anything.

One of the least impressive players at the club currently, Havertz has massively struggled to bring himself up to the speed of the Premier League. Despite spending four months at the club, Havertz looks unaware of what’s going on around him with the player’s impact at the side being negligible.

While Havertz has to take onus for his dreary displays, a fair share of the blame lies on Frank Lampard as well. He’s utilised the player all across the pitch along with forcing on moving Havertz out of position.

Its seen Lampard be put to the sword by a string of people with owner Roman Abramovich too said to be discontent with Lampard’s utilisation of the midfielder. And Havertz’s old manager, Peter Bosz has come out to bat for Havertz as well.

Hitting out at Lampard in the process, the Bayer Leverkusen manager has question Lampard’s plans for Havertz at Chelsea.

“As for Kai, I can see why Chelsea brought him in but I cannot yet see the exact idea Frank Lampard has for him,” Peter Bosz said to The Athletic.

“It’s really good that he protects him in the press, though. But in the end, you must deliver, you must score goals and make goals. For a €100 million transfer you must play, and he isn’t.”

Havertz’s form along with a dip in Werner’s form as well have multiplied Lampard’s problems at Chelsea. The manager is said to be facing the heat at the moment with the club’s ownership set to pull the plug on him if performances don’t improve across the course of the coming month.
