Romelu Lukaku’s Belgium coach makes controversial remark about the striker
Growing up as young boy, Romelu Lukaku’s childhood hero was Didier Drogba. Not far behind Drogba though, was the legendary Thierry Henry.
For five years between 2001 and 2006, Theirry Henry was the top dog in England. He combined artistry with ruthlessness as he ran roughshod over defenses all over the country with Arsenal.
Now a pundit, Henry gives us his analysis on players and teams in the Premier league today. As someone who has played in the Premier league before, Henry is able to identify those minute details that others cannot, which is why he is so watchable on Sky Football.

Henry is also the assistant coach of the Belgium national team, which is why he is able to work with the likes of Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku. As a striker himself, Henry as made some observations about Lukaku’s start at Old Trafford.
“Lukaku speaks for himself.”
“He’s the man in the team – when Zlatan comes back it might be a case of a bit of rotation at that point.”
“That’s when Zlatan will come back into the side. But Romelu will still play more often than not.”
Henry also said rather controversially that Lukaku is not yet world class, nor are the Harry Kane and Alvaro Morato either. Only Sergio Aguero comes close to that bracket for the Frenchman.
“The closest guy to being world-class is Aguero because of the longevity,” the France legend added on Monday Night Football.”
“He won the league here and he’s just been doing it the longest. The other three [Lukaku, Alvaro Morata and Harry Kane] they will be world-class but they’re not yet.”
