“Your name is KASH DOLL, not KD”: Kevin Durant’s savage reply to the Detroit rapper is earning the Nets superstar a ton of attention
Kevin Durant and Kash Doll engaged in a mock Twitter feud yesterday, much to the amusement of hip hop and basketball fans alike.
Kash Doll, born Arkeisha Antoinette Knight, hails from Detroit, Michigan. She began her career as a rapper at the age of 22. Kash recently joined DaBaby for a remix of Moneybagg Yo’s “Said Sum” remix.
This song contains a line that goes something like ‘All these n***** wanna fk JT’ . Kash modified these lyrics slight bit in her tweet yesterday when she said “All these n***** wanna fk KD”. She was referencing her own rap name initials while doing this.
All these niggas wanna fuck KD

Kevin Durant and Kash Doll went back and forth in Twitter battle
One of Kevin Durant’s many nicknames is KD. In terms of the most famous ‘KDs’ around the world, Durant certainly is right up there. Although he hasn’t trademarked this nickname, we usually refer to the 4-time scoring champ when we use it in pop culture.
Therefore, Durant had the right to feel slightly affronted by this tweet. However, Durant is a follower of Kash Doll and vice versa, which indicates that they have a good relationship already. Thus, KD didn’t exactly go all in while replying:
“You did not have to use those initials to get this tweet off…U have to relax with the KD talk, your name is KASH DOLL.”
You did not have to use those initials to get this tweet off…U have to relax with the KD talk, your name is KASHDOLL

He also replied to another tweeter thus.
Nah, she really turnt up for no apparent reason dog

Kash wasn’t to be outdone, however. She continued to hold her ground, making another tweet in response.
I’m the real KD…. your name Kevin Durant act accordingly ❤️ https://t.co/zz9nKERprd

She finally ended it with this tweet explaining that this whole thread was simply in jest, and she doesn’t actually want to rain on KD’s parade.
We argue about this all the time…
