AEW Star wishes illness and death upon his critics who thinks he sucks at wrestling. He admitted that they had a right to criticise him and he had a right to wish them suffering.
Wrestling is all about character work. You could be the best wrestler in the business but that won’t matter if the fans don’t care about and react to you. The entire industry is based on provoking a reaction out of the audience watching them, whether live or at home.

AEW Star Joey Janela however, seems to have taken this mantra over the line. A polarazing character in wrestling, the Bad Boy did no favors to his reputation as he sent quite a message on social media to his haters and critics.

Janela admitted that fans were entitled to their opinions. They had the right to think he sucks at wrestling but he also has the right to believe they deserve “the most severe never ending case of strep throat” and “maybe death too, tbh.”
He tweeeted:
“All fans 100% have an right to an opinion, but I also have the right to say that wrestling fans that think I suck at wrestling deserve the most severe never ending case of strep throat….”
He followed it with:
“Maybe death too tbh.”

Janela hasn’t wrestled much this year. He has mostly been out due to an injury. Janela partnered Sonny Kiss in a tag team match against The Inner Circle’s Ortiz & Santana in the main event of this week’s AEW Dark.
