“What the hell does coalescing mean?”: Jimmy Butler reacts hilariously to a Heat reporter’s ‘big word’ in a post-game interview
Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler has a hilarious reaction to a reporter using a rather interesting word during the post-game interview.
Jimmy Butler has always been a bit of a character. Judging on which fanbase you belong to, you either love and admire the player with all your heart, or you completely and utterly despise his guts. With the Miami Heat star, there is no in-between.

His character though is one of the biggest reasons there isn’t a single dull moment with the star. And that prominently extends to his interviews as well.
After racking up yet another win, Butler sat down with reporters for his post-game interview. And what transpired in that interview has fans bawling with laughter.
“What the hell does that mean”: Jimmy Butler isn’t too happy with the reporter using a ‘big word’
While asking Jimmy Butler a question, a reporter used the word ‘coalescing’, while asking him if the record is an apt reflection of their performances. The use of the word was something Butler took exception to in the most hilarious way possible.
“Don’t do that. Come on now. What the hell does that mean? You said a big word!”
Jimmy G. Buckets made it clear he had no idea what the word meant. When the reporter finally told him, it meant ‘to come together’, this is what the player responded with.
“You could have just said that”
No coalescing around Jimmy Butler 🤣

He of course went on to answer the question and agreed that the team has come together and improved massively.
With this uptick in performances, the Miami Heat’s bid to make the NBA Finals seems to be on once again. Fans will be extremely happy as well, since the team as a whole serves an incredible underdog story in the conference, and are easy to get behind.
Overall though, it will really come down to how far Jimmy Butler can take them, and how much his teammates can support him in the postseason.
