“Hey, that is not a clean play!”: Montrezl Harrell flames Solomon Hill over the play that injured LeBron James in the Lakers’ loss to the Hawks
Lakers’ forward Montrezl Harrell sends out a stern message for Solomon Hill, says that play was more than just a common foul.
The Los Angeles Lakers could not take their win streak to five, as they fell short 99-94 to the Atlanta Hawks tonight. The Lakers suffered a tremendous loss during the game, as LeBron James exit the game with a right ankle injury.
James had a quickfire 10 points in 11 minutes before he left the court. Montrezl Harrell tried to stabilize and carry the Lakers, as he scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough. Dennis Schroder added 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, whereas Markieff Morris scored 12 points.
John Collins led the charge for the Hawks, as he scored 27 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. Trae Young added 14 points and 11 assists, whereas Danilo Gallinari scored 18 points of his own. In the end, it was the turnovers that bit the Lakers the most.
Montrezl Harrell believes stricter action should have been taken against Solomon Hill

From the video, it can be seen that it was a valid attempt to steal, and no malicious intent can be judged from the same. However, Montrezl Harrell believes otherwise. He believes Hill should have been given a stricter punishment, rather than just calling it a common reaching foul.
Montrezl Harrell said that Solomon Hill did not make a basketball play when diving on the floor and going through LeBron James’ legs to try to get the steal. He thought it should have been reviewed by the referees and Hill should received more of punishment than a common foul.

Hill replied to the same by saying he would never do such a thing on purpose. No player who embodies the sportsman spirit truly would ever hurt another player on purpose. As for James, he has been ruled out indefinitely, and the Lakers would hope to have him back before the playoffs.
