Warriors’ forward Draymond Green shuts down Tony Allen after Allen disputes Green’s claims as the best defender in the NBA.

Draymond Green, ever since Warriors fans have seen him, has never been one to hold back on sharing what’s on his mind. A few days ago, Draymond shared that he feels as if he is the DPOY if the Warriors manage to make it to the post-season.

He also hopes to be included in the Hall-of-Fame, which Steve Kerr backed right away. Continuing his streak, Green recently took it to the media to share and declare himself as the best defender to ever play in the league.

Former Champion and 6x All-NBA Defensive player Tony Allen saw this, and tried to shut Green down.

Draymond Green charges right back at Tony Allen

Green was not very fond of the comment made by Allen and made sure to mention it. He did the same by reminding Allen of the time the Warriors blew past the Grizzlies back in 2014-15. The Warriors had beaten the Grizzlies 4-2 in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.

This reply by Green has not prompted any replies by Allen yet. While his claim for DPOY stands, I’m not sure if he can call himself the Best Defender ever to play in the NBA just yet.
