Warriors’ Head Coach Steve Kerr backs up Draymond Green in his desire to make it to the Hall-of-Fame, makes a case for him.

The Golden State Warriors are on a four-game losing skid, and things don’t seem too bright for them. Their next two matches are against the Jazz and the Lakers. In the press conference post the practice, Draymond Green sat down with the press and talked about one of his goals. Green wants to end up in the Naismith Hall Of Fame at the end of the day.
“I really wanna make the Hall of Fame, that’s for sure, obviously that’s one of the greatest honors in our sport, I mean any sport, to make the Hall of Fame.”
Draymond Green knows he has to work for the same and is ready to put in the efforts required.
Steve Kerr believes Draymond Green has done enough already
While Draymond believes he still has a long way to go before being eligible for the Hall-of-Fame, his head coach disagrees. Steve Kerr believes Draymond has done more than enough to make his way to the distinguished Hall-of-Fame.
Steve Kerr went on the explain and make Green’s case. As Ben Wallace got nominated to the HOF this year, Kerr used his example as one to make Green’s case.
“I think the impact [Wallace] made defensively, helping Detroit win that championship in [2004], Ben became one of the greatest defensive players the league has ever seen. That matters. That leads to wins.”
“Draymond is kind of a point forward, point center, very unique player,” Kerr added. “But I think the best way to measure Draymond is not with his stats, it’s how much he impacts winning.”
While Kerr makes a good point, what Green said is true. He still needs to accomplish more before his case for the HOF becomes undeniable. However, it is very plausible if the Warriors are able to make a couple more playoff runs.
