“LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Giannis, that’s it?”: Kendrick Perkins calls out Steve Kerr for not categorizing Kevin Durant as ‘untradable’ in an interview
Steve Kerr has been catching some heat since omitting Kevin Durant from a list of untradable players that includes LeBron, Steph and Giannis. Kendrick Perkins joins in.
The Warriors have been having a topsy-turvy season thus far, but they’d be dead last in the league without Steph. Curry has been putting the team on his back the whole season, going off just as he did in 2015-16.
In all fairness, we’ve never seen Steph light up the league as he has in this last 10-game stretch. That’s the reason why his decision to postpone his extension has generated so much buzz.
There’s all this talk about LeBron James recruiting Steph to the Lakers. It’s mostly clear that Steph will be a Warriors lifer, at least as things stand right now. Steve Kerr alluded to this in an interview recently.
“How many players are truly untradable in the NBA? LeBron, Steph and Giannis? That’s about it. Everybody else is tradable.”
Kendrick Perkins reacts to Steve Kerr omitting Kevin Durant from his ‘untradables’ list
A few talking heads have frowned at Kerr for excluding Kevin Durant from this list of untradable players. Matt Barnes responded to a Clutch Points post on Instagram. Kendrick Perkins has joined in on this conversation on Twitter: ‘Did kevin Durant retire?’

KD is staging a comeback from yet another injury-enforced absence. Perhaps his injury history could be a reason he was omitted? It still does seem a tad careless of Kerr to not mention a 2-time Finals MVP who’s still averaging elite numbers.
Kerr has recently been under fire repeatedly for some kind of slight on KD or the other. Most of them have been baseless, but overall, they seem to certainly speak volumes about the difficult nature of their relationship at times.
It would certainly be unbecoming of Kerr to go out of his way to please Durant though. All of these quotes have come from a benevolent place and are about other players, more often than not.
