“Antonio Brown To The Kansas City Chiefs?”: Could Antonio Brown Join Patrick Mahomes & Co.? Skip Bayless Believes Tampa Bay WR & Super Bowl 55 Champ Could Leave To Kansas City
Antonio Brown is still out there in the free agent market with no indication of where he’s going. Skip Bayless proposed that Brown might go to Kansas City to play alongside Mahomes.

Brown proved that he can still a solid role as receiver as he put up about 60 receiving yards per game last season with the Buccaneers. So, would the Kansas City Chiefs want to gamble on him and sign him? It’s definitely a possibility.
Will Antonio Brown Sign With The Kansas City Chiefs?
If Brown is looking to retain his role on a contending team, then shifting to the Kansas City chiefs won’t be much of a drop-off from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After all, the Bucs’ opponent in Super Bowl 55 were the Chiefs.
Additionally, Mahomes is perhaps the best quarterback in the league right now, and he has a bright future ahead of him in Kansas City. Brown would face no drop off in the quality of his passer, and he’d still be surrounded by talent on both sides of the ball.
Additionally, with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce being the number one and number two options in some order, Brown would face no pressure to be a WR1. He could fill a similar role to what he did in Tampa, but still prove valuable.
Moreover, signing Brown would make perfect sense for the Kansas City Chiefs as well. They lost pass catcher Sammy Watkins this offseason, and they could use someone to fill his void.
The Chiefs are strapped for cash, so it’d be interesting to see what kind of a deal they could offer Brown, but the point remains that there is strong reason for both sides to commit to this.
Will Brown Re-Sign With The Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
Last year, Brown signed on a one-year, $1.1 million deal with the Bucs as a “prove-it” kind of contract. However, after showing that he’s more than capable of making an impact on the team, Brown definitely demands more than that.
However, the Buccaneers are tied down for money. They brought back all 22 of their Super Bowl starters and made some acquisitions like running back Giovanni Bernard. Thus, it’s unclear whether they have the money for Brown.
However, they definitely want him back, and Brown definitely wants to go back. Brown has a strong relationship with Tom Brady as Brady helped clear Brown’s mind. Brady definitely helped Brown overcome all the drama he faced from a year ago, and Brown certainly wouldn’t want to let that go.
