“I can do it all”: Russell Westbrook stans himself in Wizards’ postgame presser after their win over Stephen Curry’s Warriors
Wizards’ star Russell Westbrook self-hypes himself after beating the Warriors while wearing a T-Shirt with his face on it
The Washington Wizards managed to contain the red-hot Golden State Warriors. They registered a 118-114 victory over the visiting Warriors. What is even more impressive is that they managed to apply brakes on the unstoppable force that Stephen Curry was in the month of April. The Wizards held Curry to 18 points, restricting his shooting to 7/25 from the floor.
Bradley Beal led the charge in the scoring department, scoring a game-high 29 points while grabbing 10 rebounds. Russell Westbrook had yet another all-rounder performance, as he scored 14 points, grabbed 20 rebounds, and dished 10 assists.
For the Dubs, Kelly Oubre Jr, Jordan Poole, and Kent Bazemore tried to hold the fort on their leader’s off night, but the Wizards’ 4th quarter comeback stole the game away.
Russell Westbrook praises himself while wearing himself on his shirt
Russell Westbrook is one of the league’s most heavily critiqued players. After having a slow start to the season, Russ is back to putting up his usual numbers. He is averaging 21.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 10.9 assists per game for the season.
After the game tonight, Russ had a press interview for the ages. His bold clothing choices totally matched with his monster stat line. In the press conference, Russ praised himself while talking to the media, and said,
Russell Westbrook: “I’m one of those players that if I need to defend at a high level, I can do that. If I need to score at a high level, I can do that. Pass? I can do that. Rebound? I can do that. Want me to coach? Shit, I can do that, too.”

Westbrook deserves the praises. Apart from his stat line, Russ also had the primary defensive assignment on Stephen Curry. He restricted Curry to a mere 18 points, which the lowest Curry has scored in around a month.
The Wizards currently hold the 10th spot in the East and fighting tooth and nail with the Raptors to hold the final play-in spot.
