Romain Grosjean releases his IndyCar debut footage; escapes from an early crash
Romain Grosjean is back into the racing world as he makes his Indy car debut at the Alabama Grand Prix with Dale Coyne Racing.
Last year, Haas decided to part ways with Romain Grosjean, but his end in Formula 1 was the most unfortunate, as his last moments in F1 was escaping from the horrific crash.
Grosjean’s last race was supposed to be in Abu Dhabi with Haas, but his injury burns didn’t allow him to recover in time. Hence, Bahrain GP was his last appearance in F1.
In the early phase of 2021, it was reported that Grosjean would be joining Dale Coyne Racing in the IndyCar racing series, and now he has made his debut with them at the Alabama Grand Prix.
This is a piece of positive news itself, as Grosjean, after his crash in Bahrain, said that he is worried about his family if anything happens to him, so he asked for time before making a comeback. Therefore this possibly means that Grosjean is past that initial hesitation.

In the video released by the French race driver on Youtube, he highlighted Josef Newgarden’s crash in his caption, who was in front of him and spun while driving around the circuit.
Grosjean luckily escapes the crash as Newgarden didn’t come close to Grosjean, avoiding him to make any improvisation. If there had been a crash, it wouldn’t have been good for Grosjean psychologically.
The 33-year-old race driver recently overcame the most horrific F1 crash in recent history, as flames surrounded his car, compelling FIA to scratch their heads around how did it happen.
The race happened more than two weeks ago, and Grosjean fetched P10, while Alex Palou secured the win. In the next race in St. Petersburg, Grosjean secured P13 while he remained absent for Genesys 300.
