RR vs SRH Man of the Match today: Who was awarded Man of the Match in Royals vs Sunrisers IPL 2021 match?
RR vs SRH Man of the Match: The opening batsman from Rajasthan Royals played a match-winning knock at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
During the 28th match of the ongoing 14th season of the Indian Premier League between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Delhi, Rajasthan Royals beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 55 runs to register a clinical victory.
Having won their third match this season, Royals have jumped to the fifth position on the points table. In addition to this victory, they will also be rejoicing the margin with which they’ve defeated SRH.
Chasing a mammoth 221-run target, Sunrisers could only manage to score 165/8 in 20 overs. Other than a brisk 57-run opening partnership between Manish Pandey (31) and Jonny Bairstow (30), none of Sunrisers’ batsmen looked like putting a show against Rajasthan’s bowling unit.

In the first innings, Royals scored 220/3 in 20 overs after being put in to bat first by Sunrisers captain Kane Williamson. Opening the batting with Yashasvi Jaiswal (12), Buttler put together a 150-run partnership for the second wicket alongside captain Sanju Samson (48).
Despite his rich credentials in this format, it was only today that Buttler scored a maiden T20 century. Cautious against the likes of Rashid Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Buttler picked his attacking options to perfection as he ended up scoring a match-winning 124 (64) with the help of 11 fours and eight sixes.

“I think sometimes you have to swallow your ego when you’re not in perfect touch. You have to give yourself time and find your way. I tried to stay in and keep the belief that something will click. It’s a small ground. The more balls you face you can capitalise in the end.
“That’s been the theme of the IPL – players who are consistent have shown us. I pride myself on my performance for the team. We haven’t played our best cricket, hopefully for myself and the team we can kick on in the back half of the tournament,” Buttler told Star Sports during the post-match presentation ceremony.
