“Bradley Beal put Antetokounmpo on skates”: Wizards star pulled off a wicked ankle-breaker in their narrow loss to Giannis and co
Bradley Beal broke Antetokounmpo’s ankles in last night’s thriller between the Washington Wizards and the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Milwaukee Bucks and the Washington Wizards have both been two of the hottest teams over the past few weeks. The Bradley Beal and the Wizards have desperately been trying to firmly claim their spot in the play-in tournament and are succeeding at doing so off the back of Russell Westbrook’s otherworldly triple doubles night in and night out.
The Milwaukee Bucks on the other hand, are in the same boat as they look to climb the standings from the 3rd seed to the lucrative 1 seed. Their two wins over the Brooklyn Nets have propelled them one step closer to moving up the standings but it seems unlikely that they will catch Joel Embiid and co as the Sixers’ remaining strength of schedule is quite low.
The two teams faced off last night in an effort to move up the standings, with Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks pulling out a narrow victory over the Wizards, despite 42 points from Bradley Beal and a 29 point triple double from Westbrook.
Bradley Beal dropped Giannis Antetokounmpo’s older brother in the Wizards loss.
En route to his 42 points, Bradley Beal had a nasty move on the left win in the 3rd quarter against an Antetokounmpo brother. It would be assumed that if there was an Antetokounmpo on the floor for the Bucks, it would be Giannis a majority of the time.
However, with less than 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, Giannis’s older brother Thanasis took to the court. Unfortunately for Thanasis, Beal welcomed him onto NBA hardwood by making him touch Earth.

This ankle breaker from Bradley Beal will most certainly make the ‘top 15 ankle breakers of the 2020-21 NBA season’ compilation video the NBA releases following the end of each season.
Despite the various highlights and the scoring outbursts from the Wizards, the Bucks’ role players made key plays down the stretch to pull away for the 135-134 victory last night.
