“Dr O’Neal to the rescue”: Shaquille O’Neal swoops in to Charles Barkley’s aid after the Chuckster suffers a cramped thigh

Shaquille O’Neal comes to fellow panelist Charles Barkley’s rescue in a hilarious sequence of events on Inside the NBA.

Whoever came up with the nature of today’s version of Inside the NBA is an absolute genius. The show has former players in Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith to come in and analyze games.

However, what makes the show unique is the extreme number of shenanigans that the former players are allowed to do, while co-host Ernie Johnson tries to get them back on track.

The nature of the show along with the chemistry between the panelists have caused fans endear this show over the years. And in terms of shenanigans, there was yet another to add to the list.

During the end of one of the games on TNT, Chuck seemingly got so tensed that he got a serious cramp. And, in a move that would have made Superman jealous, Dr. O’Neal swooped right in at the sound of trouble.

For those who have seen the video already, get off the Chuckster’s back! Cramping a hammie during a tense game is a very real thing, and it is nothing but painful. But, just as all hope was starting to be lost, viewers say they heard a truimphant trumpet playing.

Shaquille O’Neal instantly changed into his alter ego, Dr. O’Neal, to save a fellow member of the inside crew.

As the video shows, O’Neal heroically punched Chuck’s cramp right out of his system within seconds. And the only thing Ernie could do was cry out “Dr. O’Neal! Dr. O’Neal to the rescue!”, as we are sure countless viewing at home cried out as well.

After it was all done, the fellow analysts joked that all Shaq needed was a blue glove on his hand, something to which Elevator Ernie only laughed harder to.

Overall, though, we’re just happy that Charles Barkley’s cramp is over. And while we wish him good health, we wouldn’t mind another cramp on the next episode of Inside the NBA.
