Dennis Schroder swears off Kyrie Irving sneakers: “I’ll do giveaways for everybody who wants them”
Los Angeles Lakers guard Dennis Schroder talks about what happened between him and Kyrie Irving, and how that has impacted his kicks game
The Los Angeles Lakers faced against the Brooklyn Nets on April 11 2021 last time. In that game, the Lakers stole the victory, riding on a 126-101 scoreline. This win came for the Lakers despite missing key players like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Kyle Kuzma. The tension was high during the game, and things were not going the way the Nets wanted them to go.
There was an incident on the court, which led to both the point guards, Kyrie Irving and Dennis Schroder to be on each other’s throats. The referees tried to stop it and issued a technical each, however, the two did not stop. That ultimately led to both the guards getting ejected. This was the first time either of them had gotten ejected in their career.
Dennis Schroder swears to never wear Kyries again
Dennis Schroder had often been spotted wearing Kyries in his games. However, that changed since the incident he had with Kyrie Irving. In a recent video, Dennis ‘The Menace’ Schroder is seen next to his wife and his shoe collection.
There Schroder is seen picking up a Kyrie sneaker, and saying how he can’t wear them anymore after what happened.
Kyrie Irving’s sneakers won’t touch Dennis Schroeder’s feet ever again says Lakers PG: “Unfortunately l can’t wear them no more. It’s not possible after what happened in the game.

He did offer to do a giveaway of the 30-40 pairs of Kyries he owns. Schroder says he has them in all colorways, and he wears a size 12. In case one feels like they want a pair, he asked people to hit him up.
However, with this move, Dennis has shown that he isn’t letting the rivalry slide anytime soon.
