“F*** you Trae Young!”: Knicks fans’ blunt rallying cry to demoralize Hawks star at Madison Square Garden as Derrick Rose leads them to Game 2 win
New York Knicks fans solidify Trae Young’s villain status by chanting an expletive along with his name in game-2 of the series.
The 2021 NBA Playoffs have been an absolute treat for just about every NBA fan. Sparks have been flying between teams left and right, and there has been some real drama in some of the matchups as well.
That being said though, the series between the Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks may just go down as the most exciting. And a large reason behind that will be one Mr. Trae Young.
At this point, fans know about his ability to shoot, score and dictate plays on the court. But, despite having only the slightest bit more facial hair than Steph Curry at 19, he has embraced the villain role against New York. And we absolutely love it!
After his game-winner in game one, he was seen shushing the crowd. This led to the fans using chant that probably gave the player some serious nostalgia.

“F*** you Trae Young”: New York Knicks fans come up with a straightforward chant
Trae Young is no stranger to being the villain. His confident, sometimes arrogant personality was the reason he was disliked by so many opposing fans in college.
Still, being antagonized by a revived Knicks side at the NBA level would be hard for a 22-year-old, right?
Well for the Hawks star, like basketball, it almost seems like he was born to do it. His back and forth with Knicks fans has almost singlehandedly made this an incredible series, even more, entertaining to watch. And when thousands of fans chanted “F*** you Trae Young”, all the player did was look back and smile.

We can’t help but love that. When a player can talk the talk, and then walk the walk, it makes the sport that much more exciting. And frankly, we really hope it’s a 7 game series, just so that we can get that much more out of this amazing first-round series.
