“Luka Doncic served the Clippers church dinner tonight!”: Kendrick Perkins cannot believe how good the Mavericks star is at just 22 years of age
Kendrick Perkins was quick to tweet about Luka Doncic’ masterful performance in game five against the L.A Clippers
Former Champion turned ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins, was quick to share his opinion on the absolute clinic that Luka Doncic put on in game 5 against the L.A Clippers. As always Big Perk, well known for his hyperbolic and hilarious metaphors went on to compare the Clippers to ” a damn pomeranian” in his tweet.
After struggling to put up his usual prolific numbers in game 4. Scoring only 19 points all while dealing with a neck sprain, the 22-year-old generational talent proved yet again he was just that. Doncic ended game five with 42 points,14 assists and 8 rebounds to get the Dallas Mavericks their third win in the series.
Luka jump on over the fence and found out the dog that was barking wasn’t nothing but a damn Pomeranian and went got his ball! He served the Clippers a church dinner tonight that included an family order of 42 leg quarters , 12 pieces of cornbread and 8 slices of pound cakes!

Having scored 19 of his 42 in the first quarter, Luka has broken the record for the most points scored by a Mav in the first quarter of a postseason game. A record that was previously held by Dirk Nowitzki with 18 points.
Luka Doncic is playing “daddy ball” but the Lakers are the favorites – Kendrick Perkins
Perkins, like most, has always seemed to have high praise for Luka. Earlier in an interview with NBA on ESPN, following the Mavs gaining a 2- 0 lead against the Clippers, the former Celtic went onto proclaim that Luka was playing “daddy ball ” with the Clippers.
However, when all is said and done one cannot gloss over the fact that Big Perk is a die-hard LeBron and by extension Lakers fan. keeping that in mind one could ascertain that this excitement with regards to Luka conveniently comes at a time where he is putting up absurd numbers on the board against Kawahi’s L. A Clippers, the 4th seed in the Western Conference.
After emerging victorious in game 5 the Mavs are now a win away from breaking through to the second round of the playoffs and while Luka has been nothing but short of heroic with his efforts we still have to see whether his teammates will step up to the task against a motivated and vengeful Clippers team.
