“Charles Barkley is fed up with Paul George”: NBA on TNT analyst explains why scrutiny of the Clippers star is justified
Charles Barkley hits out at Paul George after his comments on the hate he has received over the past several months, starting at the bubble.
Paul George receives a lot of hate, sometimes deserved, sometimes unjustified.
Despite being one of the biggest stars in the league, PG has been known to collapse at some of the most critical times. And because of this, many have even labeled the player as extremely unreliable.
So far this postseason though, the player has looked pretty damn good. Yes, there has been some spilled milk, some missed free throws, but there has also been plenty to be happy about.
In game-5 of the conference finals especially, with the Clippers fighting elimination, George dropped 41 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists, on 75% from the field, and 50% from three.
After the match, the player came out and said that he receives more undue criticism than any other star. Most of the NBA community somewhat agrees with the notion as well. However, it seems NBA legend, and analyst Charles Barkley is having absolutely none of it.
Chuck and Shaq rip into Paul George on the latest edition of Inside the NBA
As many fans know, both Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal were NBA superstars during their playing days, so they know a thing or two about the position that Paul George is in right now.
However, when they heard the star’s comments, the two went completely ballistic on live television. Watch the clip in the tweet below to see what happened.

Now to be fair to Paul George here, he has been one of the most scrutinized players in the NBA this season. However, it is criticism he has brought on himself, and hate he himself has to prove wrong.
So, while we don’t completely agree with the Inside Crew’s emotions here, perhaps George needs to stop paying attention to all the noise. And as we countdown to game-6 of this series, god knows the Clippers will need him to do so.
