“Put Giannis at the line and the Bucks are toast!”: Skip Bayless shares his audition for Suns” coaching job, broadcasting his ignorant tactics on NBA Twitter
Skip Bayless makes his hypothetical plan of action as the Suns’ head coach be known after Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks take game 5
Giannis Antetokounmpo and frankly the Milwaukee Bucks as a whole were dominant during this game. Despite starting atrociously, the team picked itself before it was too late, and soon took the lead.
The game went back and forth plenty of times between the two teams. But, late in the fourth, the Bucks put a stranglehold on the game and never let go. And by the final buzzer, they had secured a 123-11 9 victory.
Many have criticized the tactics and decision-making of Suns head coach Monty Williams in the fourth quarter. And, it seems that, off the coach’s indecision, Skip Bayless might be auditioning for the job through Twitter.
Let’s get into it.
Skip Bayless proposes that the Milwaukee Bucks send Giannis Antetokounmpo to the line every time in the fourth quarter
Hack-A-Shaq what? It’s the age of Hack-A-Giannis now! At least according to Skip Bayless.
The 69-year-old analyst was intently watching the game it seems. And after the match, it seems that the man had some serious tactics to discuss from the Suns side of things. Here is what he posted on Twitter.
I would’ve resorted to Hack-a-Giannis in the 4th quarter. He could not make 4th-quarter free throws with that crowd quick-counting. That strategy would’ve discombobulated the Bucks’ rhythm. Oh, well.

The brilliance coming from this man is unimaginable!
Jokes aside though, this tactic would only work in a highly utopian scenario. It doesn’t consider the fact that Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of those superstars that would be ready to do anything for the win. Even if it means the ball isn’t in his hands.
Moreover, even if the tactic works while the player is on the floor, what do you do about Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton? Especially in game 5, both players seemed almost as good as the Greek Freak in terms of performance.
Come on Skip. You can do better.
